He stared at her for a moment, an eyebrow raised. "Ar-are you serious? How on earth are supposed to find them?" He demanded, throwing his hands up in the air.
He wanted to rip his hair from his head; she was just being too calm about all of this! He pinched the bridge of his nose, forcing himself to calm down. "Alright. This will work out. Let's just figure everything out tomorrow," he murmured, exhausted.
He followed after her, turning around in a circle as he walked, making sure to scope out everything. "So...how'd you find this place?" He asked, trying to break the silence.
"Well, I just stumbled upon it one day," Alexianna laughed, pulling the door open as she reached the shack, "I needed a place to sleep, and here it was."
"I see," he slowly said, finally turning around to face her. "And you're sure this is one hundred percent safe?" He asked, crossing his hands over his chest.
"You can never be too careful," he muttered back, slowly following after her. "'Sides, it's best to be safe than having her head on a stick, or whatever."
He let out a snort, sounding like he didn't believe her. Though he didn't say anything as he hesitantly followed after her inside the rundown shack. Wrinkling his nose, he turned around, marking exits and escapes, just to make sure.
"Are you sure this is where you live?" He asked, an eyebrow raising. "Doesn't exactly look like a home a thief would live in; unless you either sucked at your job and didn't grab anything or you robbed the wrong people."
Elizah shook his head, looking disappointed. "You're missing out on a pretty good life," he replied lightly, strolling around the shack, his hands clasped behind his back.
He frowned at her. "Though I think you already have; stealing blankets from those soldiers could kill a couple of them," he commented lightly, rocking on his heels.
