"Cassel, you're special to me too," Hareena whispered, leaning over to kiss his cheek softly. She back after a few seconds, staring at her lap in embarrassment.

Ah, to hell with it. Cassel lifted his chin and leaned over to pressed his lips against hers. His heart thudded in his chest, he felt light-headed... but it felt downright amazing.

Hareena's breath hitched in her throat, but she didn't pull away from him. She hesitantly pressed her lips to his in return, scooting a bit closer to him.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel wasn't one to waste his time on chaste kisses. Now that he knew she wasn't going to pull away, he put his hands on her hips and pulled her into his lap. He deepened the kiss, his tongue asking her to part her lips.

Hareena braced her hands on his shoulders, caught offguard by his sudden intensity. She let her lips part, hesitant but not afraid of Cassel.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel let himself fall into the kiss, forgetting his worries and fears... and his guilt. There was nothing right then but the feel of her against him, her lips touching his. He suddenly wished he was somewhere other than the middle of the school grounds. Somewhere private, somewhere that... he pushed that thought away before it had a chance to really form.

She ran her hands up to the back of his neck, fingertips brushing the hair at the nape of his neck. Hareena had never been in a situation like this, since she didn't get close to many people. It made butterflies tickle her stomach and she desperately wished that she could look into his face without her visions taking control.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel broke away and struggled to catch his breath. "Maybe... maybe we shouldn't do this here," he whispered, his eyes still closed.

Hareena only looked at him through her dark lashes, "Do you want to go to one of our rooms?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel's heart missed a beat. His eyes fluttered open. "Only if you want to," he said.

Hareena smiled and gave his lips another soft peck, "Yeah, I do want to."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel swallowed and tried to get his breathing working again. She probably didn't mean what he wanted. But just being alone with her would be enough for him. "Okay. Let's go. My room."

Hareena climbed off his lap and stood up, smoothing out her shorts, "Okay," she smiled, "Your room it is."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Cassel took her hand and led her back toward the school, a smile on his face.

Hareena squeezed his hand lightly, "I've been wanting to say something for a while, Cassel," she murmured, smiling.
