"But that doesn't mean it's right," Cassel argued. "I never even bothered to help anyone else. I never even thought to."

Hareena lightly stroked his cheek, "That doesn't mean you don't deserve to be loved."

"Doesn't it, though?" Cassel asked. "Why would someone who loves only himself deserve love from anyone else?"

"Well, babies only love themselves and they still deserve love," Hareena shrugged.

"That's different," Cassel muttered. "They're babies. They're not fully developed."

She sighed, "Cassel, I love you, no matter what you say," Hareena whispered, closing her eyes.

"I'm not sure why," he said, rubbing her shoulder. "But I'm glad you do."

She hugged him, burying her face against Cassel's neck, "Mmm, I want you to be glad. I want you to be happy."

"How could I not be happy with you?" Cassel said. He tightened his arm around her.

Hareena smiled and shrugged, "I don't know."

Cassel lazily glanced around the room. When his eyes fell on his clock, they widened. "Shit. I have class in ten minutes."

Hareena frowned and opened her eyes, "What class?"

"Chem," he replied. "I can't miss it. I've already miss two classes this month."

She chuckled and sat up, "Cassel, you shouldn't skip any class."

Cassel pushed himself up and gave her a crooked smile. "I do a lot of things I shouldn't."

Hareena leaned in and kissed him quickly, "Yes, you do. But I'm making you go today, so time to get up."

"If you insist," Cassel said. He got up off the bed and grabbed his books. "I'll see you tonight, okay?"

Hareena nodded, giving him a soft smile, "Okay, should we meet at the fountain?"

Cassel smiled. "It's a date." He winked and then left the room.
