"He's fine!" Colden snapped back at him, lifting his head and glaring over at Alexander.
Alexander huffed, turning away. He didn't like seeing Colden mad at him. Maybe he shouldn't have kissed him after all. It seemed to have changed his parabatai... Somehow. "Fine then. /I'll/ go hang out with him."
The blonde Shadowhunter just seemed to make himself a cocoon of blankets, closing his eyes tightly.
Ezekiel was up and walking around the library, his yellow eyes trailing over the numerous books.
Alexander was mumbling something along the lines of 'stubborn jacka*s' while walking into the library before he descended the stairs, his pants slipping down.
He chose a book and opened it, humming as his eyes flicked over the words swiftly.
Pulling up his pants, a blush on his face, he remembered how Colden would make fun of him because of it before he remembered what had happened and he scowled, walking to his chair and plopping down, grabbing his book and continuing to read it. "Colden's being a stubborn mule. He said you can go if you want."

Alexander shrugged. Somehow he knew he'd get shot down. He just didn't want to believe it before. But now... He didn't have any other choice. But they were still brothers, still friends, even though his heart ached every time he thought about his parabatai. So he didn't want to think about it. He didn't even want to think about love in general.
