"Well," Ezekiel said after a moment, "That was a total 360. You kissed him first, didn't you? Why are you all pissy now?"
Alexander looked up from his book to gaze at the warlock with a clouded, thoughtful expression. "Because he's been watching me for weeks now and hasn't done anything. So I thought if I made the first move he'd crack." He turned back to his book, voice becoming bored. "Guess he didn't. Seems to have hardened him up even more."
"From what I could observe, he wasn't unhappy. That's a good sign, isn't it?" The warlock folded his hands in his lap, "He seemed more surprised than anything."

Alexander shrugged. "It wasn't what I was hoping for." He replied cooly, turning the page of his book.
"Did you expect a very passionate response?" He arched one delicate eyebrow, "For him to declare his love in front of the world and then sweep you off your feet?"

Alexander huffed in a bratty no though a blush colored his cheekbones. Perhaps... He had wished for that... But obviously, he should have known it wouldn't happen. This was /Colden/ they were talking about. Cole was known to be very closed off when it came to deep emotion.
"It's alright if you did. We all want that, don't we?" Ezekiel smiled, flashing pearly teeth, "Though Blondie seems a bit thick-headed. I can't see him being the fluffy, romantic type."

Alexander hummed with a frown. Exactly what he had thought, though hearing it from the warlock made him fidget with anger in his heart. The warlock had no place to call his parabatai thick-headed! That was his job.
As if sensing the anger, Kiel held up his hands, "I like him and all, I'm just calling things how I are them. I simply don't think he'll be the Prince Charmig you're hoping for."

Alexander inhaled a soft breath to calm his angered heart. There was no reason to freak right now. He nodded, though there seemed to be a dejected tone to his next words: "...There's no such thing as a 'Prince Charming'. After all, that's part of a fairytale. And magic is anything but happy." He turned back to his book.
"Well why not? You had no problem looking at him about ten minutes ago," Kiel pointed out.
Xan blushed a deep shade of red. "Well... But..." He continued to blubber on before he stood and nodded, walking out and heading to Colden's room. Whether he was going to talk to the male about the kiss or not was a mystery -- he had to let Cole know he had left his guest, too, which was rather rude. Colden /did/ invite him there, after all.
