"You could always try to have a little fun," Kiel leaned back in his chair, setting the book aside, "Come to one of my parties or something. Get your mind off your "duty". You Nephilim work too much."

"Mmhm." Alexander stuck his nose in the book, continuing to read.
The warlock blew out a sigh, watching Alexander with narrowed eyes. He was such a stubborn little Shadowhunter. Getting close to him would prove to be harder than he initially thought.
After a while, there was a shuffle, and Colden walked into the room, a blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He was looking at his feet as he moved, heading toward Alexander's chair out of instinct.

"Whoever said anything about fighting? I'm not fighting." He trailed his fingertips along the books, looking for one that would spark his interest.
"Your type of fighting is different from most people's." He said, matter-of-fact, "So I know you're not happy right now."
"You're right. I'm not happy. But not because of you." He plucked a book from its shelf. "Believe it or not, Colden, the world doesn't revolve around /you/."
His face flushed red and he pulled the blanket tighter around himself, "Why are you unhappy?"
"Because I don't like being pulled back and forth!" He sighed in aggitation. "Both of you, you make my life hell! Here I am, having nightmares- dreams- visions- desires- I don't know, whatever the hell they are, about this guy!" He jabbed a finger at Ezekiel. "While I'm constamtly being tantalized by you!" He jabbed his other finger at Colden. "And frankly, it's tiring."
