"Well, it's only unfair once you establish a relationship. Right now, you aren't in an actual relationship with anyone. Liking two people is not a big deal." Kiel pointed out.

Colden pursed his lips.
Alexander raised an eyebrow. He got the feeling this warlock had experience with... Several people at a time, so to say. "Perhaps that's how it is to you. But not to me."
"Well, you admit to having feelings for Blondie, right?" Ezekiel strode over to them, folding his arms against his lithe chest, "But you've been having dreams and whatnot about moi. So obviously, you must feel something- I can't say what that something is- for me. It's definitely plausible. How you go about it is a different story, I'm afraid."
Colden listened to Kiel talk, his brows furrowing. Feelings for him and feelings for the warlock. Now, Cole certainly didn't find anything wrong with that. It could be simple attraction, it could be more, but his relationship with Alexander was a lot more complicated. They weren't just friends to begin with- they were parabatai. That bond in and of itself is already pretty complex.

Alexander nibbled his lip with a look sideways. "I..." He inhaled a deep breath and walked to the warlock. He reached up on tip toe a bit and whispered into his ear. He told him of his suspicions- that he liked the warlock more than he liked his parabatai. And he told him of his fears- that the Clave would find out and that Colden would be mad.
"That, Blue Eyes, is something I like to hear," Ezekiel's grin was suspiciously like the Cheshire Cat's as listened to Alexander reveal what he was thinking, "I think you'll be pleased to know that those feelings are indeed reciprocated and when I do this, I pray you not do something drastic, like slap me," the warlock caught the boy by the chin and sealed their lips together. His other arm slipped around Alexander's waist, pulling the Shadowhunter close although the kiss wasn't, in any way, too long or sloppy.
Colden's blue eyes widened a bit- well, his parabatai was just having extreme good luck that night.

Alexander's eyes only slightly widened in surprise, his arms at his sides to show his bit of relictance before he wound his arms around the warlock's neck loosely and kissed him back. Though it seemed to take minutes after minutes, it was actually quite a quick decision the Shadowhunter had made, and he couldn't help but feel a bit happy at the choice he made. Though he was still afraid of what Colden would say.
Colden, in fact, was very happy for Alexander. He deserved to have happiness with someone and the blonde had been afraid that his uncertainty would have ruined it all for Xan. At least with Ezekiel, the choice seemed very clear. He couldn't feel like he was losing him in any way because they were still parabatai and had that relationship, which was strong, going for them.
Ezekiel pulled away after a few moments, Xan's choice clear to him. He smiled in a way that demonstrated his joy; somehow, he wasn't worried about Blondie. Cole was usually the center of attention, but he seemed to back off, at least when Kiel came around.

Alexander was still looking up at Ezekiel, fireworks remaining behind his eyes though as they slowly died (or more like faded away), reality began to sink in. Oh no, he thought to himself, what have I done. Even if there /is/ a slim chance that Colden isn't mad at me, I... The Clave, they'll be infuriated! Homosexual relationships weren't common in the Dow world, and weren't accepted with smiles and applause. And to add to that, he had fallen for a /Downworlder/! A Warlock! So just go ahead and add prison and death to the list of banishment. Oh yeah, this was sounding /glorious/. Alexander nibbled on his lip with a frown. Fear was clutching at his heart. If he got with Colden (which he doubted would happen), they'd be banished and not killed. But if he got with Ezekiel, they'd be banished /and/ killed. Ugh, choices. Though...
"That is not generally an expression I enjoy seeing after a kiss," Kiel pointed out, trailing one finger across Xander's frowning lips, "What's on your mind, Blue Eyes?"

"This isn't the type of relationship the Clave will be ready to celebrate. In fact, they'll probably try to hunt us down if they catch wind of it." Alex nibbled on his lip, eyes clouding. "And I..." He sighed. "I don't want my stupidity to be the cause of your death."
The warlock laughed, a light, tinkling sound, and shook his head, "Don't you worry about me. I'll be fine."
Xander pouted. "But... I /am/ worried! I'm afraid." He finished his whine quietly, not wanting anyone to hear his confession. A Shadowhunter being afraid was a rare thing to hear from their lips, even if others were feeling it in their hearts. To hear it confessed was... A surprise.
"You don't need to be," Ezekiel repeated in a smooth, soothing tone. His yellow eyes flicked over Alexander's face, "I have survived through a lot, believe me. I'm not /that/ worried about the Clave."

Calmed by his voice, he resisted the urge to return to the warlock's arms and be held forever. It was beyond tempting. But he felt he had been affectionate enough in front of his parabatai. It was probably pretty awkward for him.
So, while nibbling on his lip with a pout that made his lips look lusciously full, he turned and looked at Colden apologetically.
"You don't need to apologize, Xan," Colden piped up, pulling his blanket around himself again, "I'm not angry or upset. I'm happy for you."
Alexander pouted, feeling he should go hug him or something, but he seemed to be restricted by some sort of pressure. He didn't want to be too far from Ezekiel. He /couldn't/ be too far from him. He made him feel happy and relaxed. He didn't want to leave that.
"Cole." Alex called while worrying his lip. The flesh had become raw and looked like it was about to split. He finally walked over and hugged him. "I hope... You're not mad."
