"'Almost'? My dear woman, you wound me," he said, gesturing towards the vial he held in his hand. "What about this lil' thing? I'm sure it does...well, something."
The assassin tapped the cork of the bottle against his lip, glancing around the place. "I have to admit, you've captured my interest in this ol' thing," he suddenly said, tossing the bottle to each hand.
The assassin rolled his eyes, as if that was the most ridiculous thing he had heard all day. "Well obviously, you did nothing, but stand there," he scathingly replied, his eyebrows raised.
The assassin frowned at her, getting a little irked at what she called him, but not enough to say anything against it. "Like I said; I was here to get this vial for an employer, no questions asked."
"Buuuuut," he slowly said, glancing down at the bottle, "he won't know if I find a couple of this. That would leave me to figure out what the heck this is..."
He cocked an eyebrow at her, studying her for a moment. "Would you like to come along with me to figure this thing out?" Who knows, perhaps it could end well, like Eva. Then again, maybe not that well. He thought to himself, grimacing.
He nodded, stuffing the bottle in his pocket, wondering if it had been a smart idea doing this. He brushed that thought away; time to come out of his comfort zone, apparently. The assassin hesitantly held his hand out, like he didn't know what he was doing, before introducing himself, "Elizah, Elizah Hare."
