Protectors are a group of people who took it upon themselves to be the guardians of the Earth. They keep peace in the Secret World between the Lucidus and the Malum. Their set of laws laid out by the Caelestis Carta, or Heavenly Charter. The Protectors are made up of all of the eight species of the Secret World, though they are predominantly Nephilim. After that, a majority is Lucidus, with the minority being Malum. Technically "Protector" is a Latin name, and they should be the "Protectores" but as it's practically the same in English, they've just become the Protectors.

Rick Caravella | RPed by Crystalfrost A 25 year old guy with sleek black hair and the typical bright blue eyes of a descendant of an archangel. He is kind and funny, and easy to get along with. He is smart and thinks before he acts. He is well known among the creatures of the secret world for his strength and quick-thinking. He is a highly respected member of the council. He seems perfect, and many view him that way, but Rick has made his fair share of mistakes. He was rebellious when he was a teenager, a Protector in training. He associated with Malum, and eventually got into a very bad situation with the Malum. But, well... you learn from your mistakes. He's still rather sympathetic toward the Malum, and many think he shouldn't be. Few people still alive know about the "incident" with the demon. And no he didn't kill them. His mastered powers are earth and healing, and can also read minds.

	Kain | Rped by Light_In_My_dream Kain is known as a phantom amongst the other Guard, rarely seen or heard from. he's currently 27 years old with dark midnight blue eyes and platinum silver hair that has a baby blue hue to it. He's extremely gifted with illusion magic, and can disappear at will, sometimes even doing it unitentionally. He knows how to teleport as well, but he prefers to walk. He doesn't like being around lots of people, and rarely goes to meetings. He's had his fair share of run ins with Malum, and even has a few friends amongst them. Kain likes to read, and is rarely seen without a book, if he's seen at all that is. He's very gullible, and can get scared pretty easily.

She is trusted by all the members of the Protectors and is rising through the ranks to become a member of the Council as well. Surprisingly, Gabby only has two powers instead of the usual three you find in high-ranking members of the Protectors. Her two powers are Invisibility and Lightning. Even though she only has two powers, she has a wonderful grasp on the concepts and is also good at wielding any weapon you give to her. She is especially good at the sword. Her personality is quiet when she isn't being spoken to, but she is also authoritative over her soldiers. She isn't afraid to tell them what to do. People respect her for this quality and follow her without her having to be too firm. Most of the time, that is. Her favorite pass-time is training new Protectors and helping them find their powers.

She is relatively happy with her life and tends to have a smile on. Her black hair is normally down and messy, because of the fact it is curly, and she would like to have a boyfriend. Just don't get her mad or risk losing your head.
