These are the "dark" creatures of the Secret World, also known as Downworlders. Not all of them are necessarily evil, but they are dangerous to humans and enemies of the light creatures. The ones that aren't immortal live much longer than humans. All of them are strong, fast, and usually heal quickly. They live in their small groups and move around as they please, except for the demons, although they avoid places they know are inhabited by the Lucidus.
