Nell opens her eyes, steady breathing from two sleep servants and chirping crickets became her daily wake up. Nell silently sat up making sure not to disturb the other's slumber. She crept to the wardrobe, unbuttoned her night gown and pulled her uniform dress over her head. Nell hated the dress, it is itchy and the color is faded but she doesn't have a say she was sold to not think just work. Nell slipped her feet into her boot, opened the door carefully and closed it gently behind her. Running down to the docks Nell couldn't wait to watch the sunrise and to greet the nobles that come in on boat. The tall grass scrapped against her boats, her hair tied into a long braid flowing behind her and fresh dew damped the bottom of Nell's dress. Nell pictured herself one day returning as a noble, walking on the dock towards the castle and being acknowledged by the King and Queen themselves. Dreams are something beautiful and without her dreams Nell wouldn't try her best everyday to be noticed and to be free.
